Curating an award exhibition is a difficult task. The artists are chosen by an independent jury, and the job of the curator becomes almost the one of a scenographer. The building of the Museum Kunstpalast – redesigned in 2001 by Oswald Mathias Ungers – offered a strong grid (raster) to construct partition walls.
